I have been working with clients for over 10 years. In my work, I meet all kinds of individuals who are looking to address issues that are causing distress or interfering with their quality of life.

I have a special interest in working with women experiencing postnatal distress commonly referred to as postnatal depression (PND) or baby blues. My research and clinical experience in this area focusses on the impact of prior life experiences on the onset of postnatal distress and the potential for unresolved issues to surface at this time. You can read more about postnatal counselling and my approach here.

I also have a special interest in psychodermatology. I work with clients to address the concomitant stress, depression, and anxiety of living with a chronic or intractable skin disease such as eczema, psoriasis and rosacea. Furthermore, I help clients explore their internal worlds to understand how unprocessed emotions may be negatively impacting their skin. You can read more about my approach here.

I also offer Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing therapy (EMDR) which is a method for treating trauma, anxiety and depression.
