Psychotherapy & Counselling
anna kinnaird folkman
I am a qualified and highly experienced psychotherapist offering in person counselling in Wimbledon and online therapy in your location. I practice extensively throughout the UK and in Europe.
About Anna
I have been working in private practice for over 12 years and have extensive experience with a wide range of issues that cause problems in daily life. Clients typically come to see me to explore these problems and to develop strategies for moving forward and enjoying life again. I offer both long term psychotherapy and shorter term counselling.
I work with clients to explore their internal worlds and to understand the toxic impact of their negative beliefs, unresolved emotional or traumatic experiences, long held grudges, or patterns of relating in the world and how this may be impacting their emotional and physical health. Prior to entering private practice, I worked as a counsellor at both the Kingston Women’s Centre and the Wimbledon Guild.
Qualifications:
MA Transpersonal Psychotherapy (Distinction), 2011 Post graduate Diploma in Psychotherapy and Counselling, 2010 BCom Management & Marketing, 2001
I adhere to the professional standards for psychotherapy and counselling of the BACP and UKCP.

Get started
How it Works
My initial meeting with you will be an assessment of sorts, where I’ll ask you questions about your current situation and your hopes for the future.
Basically, we get to know each other a little bit and get a feel for whether we might work well together. Following sessions are client led; you decide what you want to talk about, and our dialogue begins there.
Sessions last 50 minutes and we usually meet weekly.
Individual sessions cost £85
